Responsibilities

As a Permanent Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for

• Overseeing the maintenance of all manufacturing equipment, ensuring it is in excellent working condition and meets all safety standards.
• Managing the inventory of spare parts and equipment, ensuring optimal levels are maintained at all times.
• Implementing and managing PLC programming to enhance the efficiency of our manufacturing processes.
• Applying Six Sigma principles to identify and eliminate defects in our manufacturing processes.
• Troubleshooting equipment and system failures, identifying root causes, and implementing effective solutions.
• Leading process improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
• Overseeing the maintenance of mechanical systems, die fabrication, and fabrication processes.
• Implementing lean manufacturing principles to optimize our operations.
• Managing the maintenance of electrical systems, HVAC, and hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Leading and developing a team of maintenance technicians, fostering a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement.
• Ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations and other relevant safety standards.
  
  

Qualifications

To be considered for the Permanent Maintenance Manager role, you must have

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a maintenance management role in the manufacturing industry.
• Proven experience in inventory management, PLC programming, Six Sigma, troubleshooting, process improvement, and mechanical systems.
• Experience in die fabrication, fabrication, lean manufacturing, and electrical maintenance.
• Demonstrated knowledge of HVAC, and hydraulic and pneumatic maintenance.
• Proven team leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
• Extensive knowledge of hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and OSHA compliance.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical information to a variety of audiences.
• A degree in Engineering, or a related field, would be considered an asset.
