Precision Castparts Corp. (PCC) is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance and repair operations in California. The ideal candidate will direct a team of 30-50 employees, ensuring compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
This position requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a manufacturing environment, with a solid background in maintenance practices, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. Directs and coordinates activities of skilled and unskilled labor engaged in repair, maintenance, electrical, mobile equipment, and installation of machines, tools, and equipment, and in general building maintenance of an industrial plant by performing the following duties personally or through subordinates.

In performing functions, duties or tasks, employees are required to know and follow safe work practices, and to be aware of Company policies and procedures related to job safety, including safety rules and regulations. All functions, duties or tasks are to be carried out in an honest, ethical and professional manner, and to be performed in conformance with applicable Company policies and procedures. In the event of uncertainty or lack of knowledge of Company policies and procedures, employees are required to request clarification or explanations from superiors or authorized company representatives.
Directly supervise 30-50 employees in the Maintenance Department, some of whom may be Shift Supervisors or Leads, across multiple shifts. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the Company's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or eight to ten years related experience and/or training in a manufacturing environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Related experience supervising a minimum of 20 mechanics or maintenance support staff.

For informational purposes only, the range of pay for this role is $130,000 to $180,000 US Dollar (USD) Salaried based on a variety of factors. This role is eligible to participate in the Company's Quarterly Cash Bonus Plan, paid out at the quarterly bonus factor of 2X the Company's bonus multiple, based on the Company's performance in the applicable quarter. Employees will receive 120 hours paid time off every year, 10 paid holidays, medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance, and participation in the Company's 401(k) plan.
This position requires use of information or access to production processes subject to national security controls under U.S. export control laws and regulations (including, but not limited to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR)).
