Maintenance Manager

We’re looking for a hands-on Maintenance Manager to lead our onsite facilities at our Woodstock, IL campus. This position is responsible for overseeing building operations and maintenance at our primary locations, ensuring they remain safe, clean, and fully functional. The right candidate will bring strong technical knowledge, leadership capabilities, and a proactive attitude to support a fast-paced, high-tech environment.

What Will You be Doing?

  • Supervise and coordinate the daily operations of the maintenance team.
  • Perform or oversee repairs to HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and appliance systems.
  • Conduct facility inspections and perform preventative maintenance (PMs).
  • Manage inventory and ordering of cleaning and maintenance supplies.
  • Assist with routine cleaning and janitorial tasks when needed.
  • Monitor and respond to Facilities requests submitted via our Jira ticketing system.
  • Support IT team with basic tasks and troubleshooting for Turbine testing.
  • Oversee relationships with contractors and external service providers.
  • Lead safety initiatives and ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Recruit, train, evaluate, and, when necessary, discipline maintenance staff.
  • Participate in special projects assigned by leadership.

What You Bring with You?

  • Certification in maintenance or facility management preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of maintenance/facility management experience, including supervisory duties.
  • Proficient in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical systems, and appliance repair.
  • Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
  • Experience with forklifts or other heavy equipment a plus.
  • Comfortable with Microsoft Office, email systems, and Jira (preferred).
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Able to lift up to 70 lbs and work physically demanding shifts.
  • Flexibility to work weekends or extended hours as needed.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

Compensation Structure for the Position

The compensation package for this role includes a base salary starting at $80,000 USD per year. The amount of variable compensation will be determined based on your experience, skills, and performance.
