International Paper in Vineland, NJ is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead a 24/7 maintenance operation at Vineland Specialty. The role emphasizes supervision, reliability, cost control and safety.

The successful candidate will have 5+ years in maintenance leadership within manufacturing, strong electrical, mechanical, hydraulics and pneumatics knowledge, and a focus on data-driven decisions and teamwork.

• Five+ years maintenance and leadership experience in a manufacturing plant.
• Demonstrated supervisory skills in a fast-paced environment.
• College or technical courses preferred.
• Five years’ experience in corrugated box industry with electronics, hydraulics, pneumatics and electricity.
• Action oriented with the ability to organize and read data.

• Report to Site Manager any information impeding plant operation with technical guidance.
• Initiate and maintain cost-effective preventive maintenance and quality improvements.
• Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors to achieve results.

• Troubleshoot problems and make data-driven decisions.

Pay Rate:

$89,000 to $118,600 (USCORE)

Multiple factors, including Individual experience, skills and abilities will determine where an employee is ultimately placed in the pay range. Variable pay may provide additional opportunities for financial awards. This job is eligible to participate in IP’s annual incentive plan.

The Job You Will Perform:

• Actively supervises employees in the everyday coordination, execution and planning of maintenance efforts, including a 24/7 maintenance coverage

• Report to Site Manager any information that may impede the operation of the plant as soon as it becomes known, while providing technical expertise regarding plant equipment and facilities.

• Initiate and/or maintain a cost-effective preventive maintenance program and Implement quality improvement and cost reduction ideas.

• Contact and work with vendors and subcontractors to achieve desired results.

• Manage machine reliability initiatives

• Maintains adequate inventories of spare parts and Purchase materials, parts, and supplies as required.

• Troubleshoot and solve problems.

• Make data driven decisions

• Identify areas where safety issues could arise and take measures to proactively address the concerns.

• Plans, schedules and monitors the timely completion of maintenance work orders.

• Maintain a good working relationship with the plant management, supervisory staff and hourly employees.

• Maintain good housekeeping practices.

• Continually communicate in a positive manner.

• Participate in weekly, monthly, semiannual and annual safety and environmental audits.

• Five years’ experience in the corrugated box industry with heavy experience in electronics, mechanical, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electricity preferred.
