DryBev is seeking a hands-on, dependable Maintenance Manager to keep our production operations running safely, efficiently, and with minimal downtime. This role is responsible for production equipment reliability, preventive maintenance, facility upkeep, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.
The ideal candidate is equally comfortable leading a maintenance program, coordinating vendors, and working directly on equipment when production needs support. This person will collaborate closely with production, quality, sanitation, and leadership to identify risks, resolve issues quickly, and improve overall equipment performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Keep production equipment and facility systems operating safely and reliably
- Develop, manage, and continuously improve the preventive maintenance program
- Plan and schedule maintenance activities around production requirements
- Respond quickly to breakdowns, troubleshoot root causes, and implement lasting repairs
- Maintain accurate records for work orders, inspections, repairs, parts, and equipment history
- Manage spare-parts inventory and ensure critical components are available
- Oversee facility systems, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, compressed air, utilities, and building maintenance
- Coordinate and manage contractors, service providers, inspections, and repair projects
- Support equipment installation, commissioning, upgrades, and production-line improvements
- Partner with production and quality teams to maintain food-safety, sanitation, and regulatory standards
- Establish and track maintenance performance measures, including downtime, preventive-maintenance completion, and recurring failures
- Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability, safety, efficiency, and operating cost
- Help develop procedures, train employees, and build a strong culture of preventive maintenance
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe maintenance shop and work environment
- Support emergency or after-hours maintenance needs when necessary
Qualifications
- 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience, preferably in beverage, food, packaging, or consumer-goods manufacturing
- Previous maintenance leadership, supervisory, or program-management experience
- Strong mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and troubleshooting skills
- Experience maintaining production, processing, packaging, conveying, or filling equipment
- Working knowledge of preventive-maintenance systems and computerized maintenance-management software
- Ability to read equipment manuals, mechanical drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation
- Strong planning, prioritization, communication, and vendor-management skillsUnderstanding of workplace safety requirements and lockout/tagout procedures
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment and remain calm during equipment failures
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in beverage manufacturing or a regulated food-production environment
- Familiarity with pumps, motors, fillers, labelers, conveyors, compressors, boilers, refrigeration, and water-treatment systems
- Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, FDA, OSHA, and food-safety requirements
- Experience with capital projects, equipment commissioning, and reliability improvement
- Relevant technical degree, trade certification, or electrical/mechanical license
Physical and Scheduling Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, and work around operating production equipment
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
- Willingness to work occasional evenings, weekends, or on-call hours based on production needs

Success in this role means production stays moving, preventive maintenance is completed on schedule, equipment failures are addressed quickly and permanently, the facility remains safe and well maintained, and downtime improves over time.
