Job summary

Tilray Brands, Inc. seeks a Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance across brewery production, packaging, warehouse, and facility systems, ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable operations in support of production schedules and quality goals.

You will lead Maintenance Technicians and contractors, drive preventive maintenance programs, and partner with Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, EHS, and Operations to reduce downtime and improve asset performance.

Responsibilities

  • Direct maintenance activities and deploy resources based on production and operational priorities.
  • Develop schedules and coverage plans for preventive maintenance, repairs, projects, and emergency support.
  • Coach, train, and develop Maintenance Technicians while reinforcing accountability, teamwork, and safe work practices.
  • Establish and maintain maintenance procedures, technical standards, and performance expectations.
  • Develop and maintain preventive and predictive maintenance programs for critical assets.
  • Use downtime data, work-order history, and root‑cause analysis to reduce recurring failures.
  • Maintain accurate work orders, repair logs, asset histories, and open‑priority lists.
  • Track maintenance performance and communicate equipment risks, priorities, and corrective actions.
  • Oversee maintenance of brewing, packaging, kegging, canning, bottling, warehouse, refrigeration, compressed air, steam, water‑treatment, CO2, and facility systems.
  • Coordinate major repairs, planned shutdowns, installation, startup, and commissioning activities.
  • Manage spare‑parts availability, vendor support, contractor work, and critical component inventories.
  • Support troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, PLC, VFD, and controls‑related issues.
  • Champion a safety‑first maintenance culture and ensure compliance with company requirements.
  • Reinforce lockout/tagout, confined‑space, hot‑work, contractor‑safety, GMP, and food‑safety expectations.
  • Investigate equipment‑related incidents and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Ensure maintenance work protects product quality, sanitation, employee safety, and operational readiness.
  • Lead reliability, Lean, TPM, waste‑reduction, and equipment‑efficiency initiatives.
  • Develop and manage maintenance labor, parts, contractor, utility, and capital budgets.
  • Evaluate equipment lifecycle, replacement needs, project priorities, and return on investment.
  • Partner cross‑functionally to improve uptime, cost control, production flow, and long‑term asset performance.
  • Key Performance Indicators: Equipment uptime and OEE; Preventive maintenance completion and planned‑versus‑unplanned maintenance; MTBF and MTTR; Downtime, maintenance cost, utility efficiency, and capital‑project performance; Safety performance, work‑order accuracy, and contractor compliance.

Job Summary

The Maintenance Manager leads maintenance operations across brewery production, packaging, warehouse, utility, and facility systems. This role ensures equipment operates safely, efficiently, and reliably in support of production schedules, quality standards, and operational goals. The position leads Maintenance Technicians and contractors and partners with Brewing, Packaging, Quality Assurance, Warehouse, EHS, and Operations leadership to reduce downtime, strengthen preventive maintenance, and improve equipment performance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
