Job summary

Tilray Brands, Inc. in Bend, Oregon seeks an experienced Event Leader to orchestrate banquet event execution with precision. You’ll coordinate setup, décor, staffing, and service according to BEOs, ensuring guest-ready spaces and timely delivery.

Manage timelines, adapt to changes, and deliver hospitality that exceeds expectations. Lead banquet staff, collaborate with kitchen and FOH teams, control costs, and uphold health, safety, and service standards.

Qualifications

  • Hospitality/event planning experience preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple events and priorities.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all banquet events are set up, staffed, and executed according to BEOs (Banquet Event Orders)
  • Complete room setup, décor placement, table arrangements, buffet lines, bars, and service stations
  • Confirm event spaces are clean, organized, and guest‑ready before every function
  • Manage timelines so events start and finish on schedule
  • Adapt quickly to last‑minute event changes or guest requests
  • Provide a high level of hospitality to banquet hosts and guests
  • Act as the main point of contact during events to resolve issues quickly and professionally
  • Ensure service standards are upheld throughout the event
  • Anticipate guest needs and create a smooth, memorable experience
  • Lead, train, schedule, and supervise banquet staff
  • Communicate clear expectations before each event
  • Hold staff accountable for service standards, Support staff during high‑volume events and lead by example on the floor
  • Foster teamwork between banquet, kitchen, bar, and management team
  • Make sure that all BEOs, CC AUTH's are submitted and printed two weeks prior to the event
  • Review BEOs daily and communicate all event details to FOH and BOH teams
  • Work closely with chefs, and FOH managers to ensure accurate execution
  • Maintain strong communication before, during, and after each event
  • Ensure all changes, special requests, allergies, and timelines are clearly relayed to the team
  • Manage banquet labor to align with sales and business needs
  • Monitor supply usage and help control operating costs
  • Support profitability through efficient staffing and execution
  • Minimize waste, breakage, and unnecessary overtime
  • Understand revenue goals and help drive banquet success
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, and safety in banquet spaces and storage areas
  • Ensure equipment is properly set, stored, and maintained
  • Enforce health department standards, food safety, and alcohol service policies
  • Confirm all breakdown and reset duties are completed after events
  • Stay calm under pressure and make effective decisions during service
  • Handle complaints or operational issues professionally and immediately
  • Take ownership of event success from start to finish
  • Follow through on details and hold the team accountable for execution
  • Show up on time- If you’re going to be late, you need to reach out to your manager (Maki) letting them know
  • Maintain a professional appearance and attitude at all times
  • Be dependable, flexible, and available during nights, weekends, and holidays as business demands
  • Represent the company positively with clients, guests, and team members
  • Demonstrate urgency, attention to detail, and a solutions-focused mindset

Event Execution
