The Maintenance Manager will report to the Shop Supervisor and will be responsible for organising, monitoring, and supervising facility maintenance activities while providing technical support to ensure facility compliance and operational readiness. Working closely with the Shop Supervisor, Engineering, Technical Management, QA/QC, and shop personnel, you will support equipment fleet readiness for offshore operations, coordinate maintenance and repair activities, and help ensure facilities and equipment remain safe, compliant, and operational.
Key responsibilities will include:
The successful candidate will have a minimum of five years' experience in equipment or facilities maintenance, ideally within the subsea energy, offshore oil and gas, heavy manufacturing, or a similar industrial environment. You will bring practical experience in hydraulic, mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical repair, together with a strong understanding of electrical principles, maintenance best practices, preventative maintenance, and HVAC equipment.
You will be a highly organised and detail-oriented maintenance professional with strong analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. Excellent communication and teamwork skills are essential, along with the ability to interpret complex technical specifications, industry codes, and inspection requirements. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with maintenance documentation, inspections, and equipment records will also be important
