Job summary

Ox Paper Tube & Core WI, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Manager to oversee electrical, maintenance, and installation tasks across the plant in Stevens Point. The role runs days, 7:00 am–4:30 pm, Monday–Friday with occasional weekends.

Candidates must have strong electrical skills and experience in an industrial setting. Responsibilities include wiring, motor and MCC troubleshooting, equipment modifications, and preventive maintenance on machinery and forklifts.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; 3–5 years of relevant experience or training.
• Strong electrical skills for industrial manufacturing environments.
• Electrical background with wiring, motors, MCCs, and circuits.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety policies and procedures.
• Complete electrical wiring and maintenance across the plant.
• Troubleshoot motors, MCCs, AC/DC circuits; test fuses and wiring.
• Work with HMIs/PLCs; maintain gearboxes, pumps and rotating units.
• Perform preventive maintenance on machinery and forklifts.
• Assess lubrication and equipment condition; install new equipment as needed.
• Record hours, complete paperwork, and keep area clean.

Salary range: $28-$34 (USD) Hourly Onwards

Job Title: Maintenance Manager – Days (7:00 am – 4:30 pm) Monday-Friday (occasional weekend)

Responsible for the necessary functions to maintain all aspects of the plant, including electrical, maintenance, repairing, and installing all equipment. MUST HAVE STRONG ELECTRICAL SKILLS ONLY CANDIDATES WITH INDUSTRIAL MANUFACTURING EXPERIENCE AND AN ELECTRICAL BACKGROUND WILL BE CONSIDERED.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Follow all safety policies and procedures.


• Complete electrical wiring and maintenance work throughout the plant.


• Troubleshoot motors, MCC’s, AC/DC electrical circuits, test fuses, wiring, and motors.


• Experience with HMIs or PLCs is desired but not required.


• Troubleshoot and rebuild gearboxes, pumps, and other rotational units.


• Perform preventive maintenance on machinery and forklifts.


• Make visual assessments of lubrication and equipment conditions.


• Modify and install new equipment, as needed.

Due to limited supervision, it is expected that the Maintenance department will perform their assigned duties with minimal direction, keep track of hours worked on a particular assignment, complete all paperwork, and leave the work area cleaned up better than what was found.

Education and/or Experience

High School diploma or GED preferred; or 3-5 years relevant experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be able to be on their feet for up to 12 hours per day. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, with assistance if required.
