Job summary

OX Paper Tube WI, LLC in Stevens Point, WI is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to maintain all plant equipment and perform electrical maintenance. The role runs on days (7:00 am – 4:30 pm), Monday–Friday with occasional weekend work. It requires strong electrical skills and an electrical background in industrial manufacturing.

The position emphasizes safety, preventive maintenance, and hands-on troubleshooting of motors, MCCs, and gearboxes; HMIs/PLCs experience is a plus.

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
3-5 years relevant experience or training in industrial maintenance.
Industrial manufacturing electrical background required.

Responsibilities

Follow all safety policies and procedures.
Complete electrical wiring and maintenance work throughout the plant.
Troubleshoot motors, MCCs, AC/DC electrical circuits, test fuses, wiring, and motors.
Experience with HMIs or PLCs is desired but not required.
Troubleshoot and rebuild gearboxes, pumps, and other rotational units.
Perform preventive maintenance on machinery and forklifts.
Make visual assessments of lubrication and equipment conditions.
Modify and install new equipment, as needed.
Due to limited supervision, keep track of hours worked and complete paperwork with a clean work area.
