Job summary

NOVO Health Services is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Manager to lead the maintenance team at our St. Louis location. This role requires deep knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems and a proven track record in managing facilities maintenance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in maintenance leadership, preferably within laundry or healthcare.
• Extensive knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics, boiler, and building maintenance systems.
• Proven experience leading engineering teams and managing budgets.
• Strong understanding of relevant safety regulations and codes.

Responsibilities

• Technical Leadership: Provide technical expertise and leadership to the engineering team, overseeing all aspects of facility maintenance and repairs.
• Preventive Maintenance: Implement a comprehensive preventive maintenance program to minimize equipment downtime and extend the lifespan of assets.
• Troubleshooting and Repair: Diagnose and repair complex equipment malfunctions, ensuring timely resolution and minimizing operational disruptions.
• Project Management: Oversee engineering projects, from planning to completion, managing budgets and timelines, and coordinating contractors.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety regulations and codes applicable to facility operations and equipment.
• Budget Management: Manage the engineering department’s budget and resource allocation.
• Team Management: Lead, motivate, and mentor engineers and technicians; manage performance evaluations and training.
• Data Analysis: Analyze operational data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement in equipment efficiency.
• Communication & Collaboration: Communicate with senior management and operations; coordinate with other departments and contractors.

NOVO Health Services is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Manager to lead and manage our maintenance team at our St. Louis location. This critical leadership role demands a deep understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, coupled with exceptional management and problem-solving abilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and reliable operation of all facility equipment and systems.

Experience in large laundry management is required for this position.

Responsibilities:

• Team Management: Lead, motivate, and mentor a team of engineers and technicians, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment. Handle performance evaluations and contribute to employee training and development.
• Data Analysis: Analyze operational data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement in equipment efficiency and maintenance practices.
• Communication & Collaboration: Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, including senior management, operations personnel, and external contractors. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of engineering solutions.

Qualifications:

• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Maintenance Manager or in a similar senior engineering role, preferably within the laundry or healthcare industry.
• Extensive knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics, boiler, and building maintenance systems.
• Proven experience in leading and managing engineering teams.
• Strong project management and problem-solving skills.Proficiency in relevant software and technical documentation.
• Strong understanding of relevant safety regulations and codes.
