Job Summary

Maintenance Manager oversees all maintenance operations, ensuring equipment, facilities, and systems are efficiently maintained, safe, and operational while managing staff, budgets, and preventive programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervising Maintenance Staff: Hire, train, and evaluate technicians, ensuring adherence to safety and performance standards, and providing coaching and development opportunities.
  • Preventive and Corrective Maintenance: Develop and implement maintenance schedules, perform inspections, and oversee repairs of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and automated systems.
  • Budget and Resource Management: Track maintenance expenses, manage budgets, and ensure availability of spare parts, tools, and materials through forecasting and inventory control.
  • Compliance and Safety: Ensure all maintenance activities comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations,
  • Operational Efficiency: Monitor maintenance KPIs, optimize workflows, and implement continuous improvement initiatives to reduce downtime and costs.
  • Vendor and Contractor Coordination: Liaise with external service providers for specialized maintenance tasks and equipment servicing.
  • Emergency Response: Respond promptly to equipment failures or facility emergencies to minimize operational disruptions.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and control systems, as well as facility management and automated manufacturing processes.
  • Leadership and Communication: Ability to lead teams, communicate effectively across departments, and resolve conflicts.
  • Experience: Typically requires at least 3 years in industrial or manufacturing maintenance and 2 years in staff management.
