Job summary

Insight Global is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager for its client in Prattville, Alabama to oversee maintenance operations and support production equipment at its manufacturing facility.

This person will be responsible for leading the maintenance team, coordinating preventative and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting recurring equipment issues, and working with Production and Engineering to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of maintenance supervisory or management experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong maintenance leadership experience, including managing, training, and developing maintenance personnel.
• Experience overseeing preventative maintenance, equipment breakdowns, troubleshooting, and root-cause/problem-solving efforts.
• Experience managing or contributing to a maintenance budget and working with vendors.
• Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent relevant maintenance experience.
• Packaging, plastics, injection/blow molding, or other high-volume manufacturing experience.
• Hands-on background with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, PLC, or automated manufacturing equipment.
• CMMS / preventative maintenance program experience.
• Experience partnering with Engineering and Production/Operations.
• GMP manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will have strong maintenance leadership experience in a manufacturing environment and a track record of developing teams, improving plant performance, and controlling maintenance costs.

Skills and Requirements
