Job summary

Zobility is seeking aStorage? No, a Maintenance Manager to oversee preventative and corrective maintenance of injection molding, blow molding and packaging equipment in our Illinois facility.

You will lead the maintenance department, hire and coach staff, coordinate with HR, and drive safety and efficiency improvements to keep lines running at high performance. You will build a world-class maintenance team, manage outside contractors, and ensure production deadlines are met through proactive

Responsibilities

• Directs preventive and corrective maintenance to keep equipment and facilities running reliably.
• Oversees maintenance department activities and contractors.
• Collaborates with Production Manager to schedule maintenance activities.
• Builds and mentors a world-class mechanical maintenance team; maintains stock of parts.
• Ensures safety requirements are enforced and a positive work environment.
• Interfaces with the organization to meet customer deadlines.
• Hires, trains and reviews performance of staff; coordinates HR disciplines as needed.
• Leads continuous improvement to production methods and equipment performance.

Job description

• Plans, directs and monitors preventative and corrective maintenance and repair activities to ensure the company's buildings, facilities, machinery, and equipment operate reliably and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Oversees maintenance of injection molding, blow molding and packaging equipment.
• Oversees activities of maintenance department.
• Collaborates with Production Manager to schedule preventative maintenance activities.
• Responsible for building world-class mechanical and preventative maintenance teams that will keep production equipment in excellent condition, keep lines running high efficiencies and maintain proper stock of parts.
• Oversees outside contractors performing installations and projects at the facility.
• Interfaces with others in the organization to ensure customer deadlines are met.
• Hires, trains, coaches and reviews performance of employees. Works with HR for employee discipline issues, terminations and recruitment.
• Oversees safety team activities. Monitors and enforces safety requirements.
• Builds a positive work environment.
• Develops, recommends, and implements measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.
• Suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of shop, department, or work crew.
