• 5+ years of maintenance leadership in heavy manufacturing.

Maintenance Manager, Foundry Operations (Confidential Search)

Location: Quarryville, PA (On-site)

Compensation: Competitive base salary plus bonus

Build People is representing a well-established metal casting manufacturer in Lancaster County, PA, in a confidential search for a Maintenance Manager. This is a hands-on leadership role at a busy foundry, and the person in it will own equipment reliability, uptime and the maintenance team.

What You'll Do

• Lead and develop the maintenance team (mechanics, electricians and technicians) across all shifts
• Own preventive and predictive maintenance programs for foundry equipment, including melt furnaces, molding lines, sand systems, shot blast, core machines, cranes and dust collection
• Drive uptime and cut unplanned downtime with root cause analysis and reliability improvements
• Manage the maintenance budget, spare parts inventory and outside contractors
• Run the CMMS and track KPIs like MTBF, MTTR and PM compliance
• Lead capital projects, equipment installs and upgrades with operations and engineering
• Keep the plant compliant with safety, environmental and OSHA standards, including LOTO and confined space

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of maintenance leadership in heavy manufacturing, with foundry or metal casting experience strongly preferred
• Strong mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic troubleshooting skills, plus PLC experience
• Experience with CMMS and with building PM and PdM programs
• A track record of leading a team in a multi-shift operation
• A degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a technical degree, is a plus, and equivalent experience is fine
