Job summary

Avis Budget Group is seeking a Budget Truck Maintenance Manager in Kent, WA to oversee fleet services, repairs, and in-/de-fleeting activities. You will direct maintenance plans, supervise managers and staff, and drive cost controls while maintaining safety standards on site.

The role requires strong financial, vendor and people management skills, with a focus on maximizing fleet utilization and profitability in a hands-on environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required; 2-4 year college degree preferred (or equivalent in education, training or experience).
• Minimum of 5 years management experience of employees in related field (rental car, automotive shop or service-oriented field).
• Valid Driver License (Class A, B or C CDL) and ability to obtain DOT medical clearance.

Responsibilities

• Directs maintenance, repair and reconditioning of fleet vehicles to maximize utilization and profitability.
• Oversees vendor management, workload assignment and service levels to meet standards.
• Manages hiring, onboarding, training and performance of managers and staff to enable a high-performance culture.
