Title: Maintenance Manager
Location: Hayward, CA
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary Range: $172,000 - $249,000

Tekberry is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Maintenance Manager to work on-site with our client, a company revolutionizing personal transportation. This role is part of the Equipment Engineering and Maintenance team and is responsible for overseeing maintenance operations for advanced vehicle assembly lines. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in automated manufacturing systems, equipment reliability, and team leadership.
Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor maintenance technicians while managing schedules and fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
• Develop and execute preventive and predictive maintenance programs for Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs), Fanuc robots, and other manufacturing equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and automation systems to minimize downtime.
• Analyze maintenance data to enhance equipment reliability and support lean manufacturing initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain detailed maintenance documentation.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 7+ years of experience in equipment engineering or maintenance within a high-tech manufacturing environment (automotive, robotics, self-driving technology).
• 3+ years of experience in a leadership or managerial role.
• Strong expertise in troubleshooting automated manufacturing systems, including Siemens controls, AGVs, and Fanuc robots.
• Familiarity with SAP maintenance management systems (CMMS) and data-driven decision-making.
• Experience in developing work instructions, spare parts inventories, and CoHE standards.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with startup OEM vehicle assembly lines.
• Knowledge of industrial automation, PLCs, and robotics.
• Familiarity with OSHA standards and machine safeguarding requirements.
