Our client company located in the Piedmont Triad (Greensboro, NC area) seeks an immediate Hands‑on Maintenance Manager. The selected candidate will provide strong technical guidance, leadership, and management of skilled maintenance personnel in all activities related to the setup, installation, maintenance, and repair of production machinery and equipment in a 24/7 manufacturing operation. Job Responsibilities

• Provide strong technical guidance, leadership, and management of skilled maintenance personnel.
• Oversee all activities related to the setup, installation, maintenance, and repair of production machinery and equipment.
• Plan and implement routine and preventative maintenance programs, schedules, and procedures; monitor existing programs.
• Assist or direct technicians in diagnosing malfunctions in equipment and machinery.
• Establish work procedures to meet production schedules.
• Recommend and implement measures to improve production methods.
• Coordinate maintenance services provided by outside vendors.
• Direct maintenance staff in electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment.
• Test and troubleshoot problem machinery, determine cause and repairs; assign work for repairs.
• Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
• Experience with Ethernet communication systems.
• Knowledge of NEC (National Electrical Code).

Qualifications and Requirements

• 5 years prior experience as Maintenance Manager or in a Lead Supervisory role.
• 8 to 10 years experience in industrial machine maintenance or a combination of experience and training.
• Strong electrical, electronic, and mechanical experience.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair Allen Bradley SLC 500 and Mitsubishi PLCs, Allen Bradley and Mitsubishi HMIs, VFDs including Allen Bradley, Siemens and Mitsubishi.
• Associate’s degree an advantage but not required.
• Welding experience required.
