About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Stamping Press Mechanic to join our team in Franklin, KY. This role is responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting progressive stamping presses, robotic welding systems, and facility equipment. The ideal candidate will bring strong mechanical and electrical skills, along with expertise in PLCs and Fanuc controls, to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operations.

Responsibilities
  • Perform preventive maintenance on progressive stamping presses ranging from 40 to 400 tons.
  • Diagnose, repair, and replace mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components as needed.
  • Conduct touch-up adjustments on Fanuc robotic welders and troubleshoot control issues.
  • Interpret and apply electrical and mechanical schematics to perform accurate repairs.
  • Maintain and repair facility equipment, including shop tools and in-house machinery.
  • Collaborate with production and engineering teams to minimize downtime and improve equipment performance.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and proper maintenance documentation.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a stamping press mechanic, maintenance technician, or similar industrial maintenance role.
  • Strong knowledge of PLC systems with the ability to troubleshoot and modify programs.
  • Familiarity with Fanuc robotic systems and controls.
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical schematics.
  • Solid mechanical background with hands-on repair and troubleshooting skills.
  • Basic electrical knowledge including wiring, controls, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience working with progressive stamping operations in a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of automated welding equipment and robotic integration.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Preventive maintenance program development and improvement experience.
  • Technical certifications in industrial maintenance, mechatronics, or related fields.
