Job summary

Staffmark is seeking a Maintenance Technician for a direct-hire, day-shift role. Pay ranges from $24.00 to $32.00 per hour, with responsibilities centered on troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining metal stamping presses, robots, and related production equipment.

You will perform electrical, mechanical, and preventative maintenance to ensure reliable operation, minimize downtime, and support daily production.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing production equipment.
• Metal stamping industry experience preferred.
• Strong electrical, mechanical, and robotic maintenance skills.
• Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to analyze equipment issues and implement effective solutions.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment including presses, robots, formers, and related machinery.
• Perform electrical, mechanical, and preventative maintenance to ensure equipment reliability.
• Minimize downtime and maximize equipment performance to support daily production.
• Produce parts per established quality standards and requirements.

What You'll Do

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain metal stamping presses, robots, formers, and other production equipment.
• Perform electrical, mechanical, and preventative maintenance to ensure equipment reliability.
• Support daily production operations by minimizing downtime and maximizing equipment performance.
• Produce parts according to established quality standards and production requirements.
• Organize and prioritize maintenance tasks to meet production goals and deadlines.

• Ensure all work is completed in compliance with company safety policies and professional standards.

Experience Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and work around production equipment throughout the shift.
• Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment.
• Capable of working in a manufacturing environment with moving machinery and varying temperatures.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move parts, tools, and maintenance materials as needed.
