The Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing all maintenance operations within a corrugated manufacturing facility. This is a "Hands-On" role to ensures optimal equipment reliability, minimizes downtime, and supports production efficiency through effective preventive and predictive maintenance programs. The Maintenance Manager leads a team of technicians and collaborates with production, safety, and quality teams to maintain a safe and high-performing operation.Plan, direct, and coordinate all maintenance activities for corrugators, converting equipment, and facility systemsDevelop and execute preventive and predictive maintenance programsEnsure rapid response to equipment breakdowns to minimize production downtimeMaintain maintenance records, logs, and reporting systems (CMMS preferred)Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve equipment uptime and reliabilityAnalyze equipment failures and implement root cause corrective actionsManage spare parts inventory and vendor relationshipsOversee installation, modification, and commissioning of new equipmentSupervise, train, and develop maintenance technicians and leadsEstablish performance expectations and conduct evaluationsPromote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvementEnsure compliance with OSHA and all safety regulationsLead safety initiatives, including lockout/tagout (LOTO), machine guarding, and PPE complianceConduct safety audits and ensure corrective actions are implementedMaintain compliance with environmental and regulatory standardsDevelop and manage maintenance budgetsControl maintenance costs while maintaining high equipment performanceIdentify cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvementsWork closely with Production, Quality, and Engineering teams to support operational goalsParticipate in production planning to align maintenance schedulesSupport capital projects and plant upgradesHigh School Dipoloma; Bachelors degree in Engineering highly desired.5–7 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or production facility, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.Strong Electrical experienceExperience in corrugated, packaging, or heavy industrial manufacturing strongly preferredStrong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systemsExperience with corrugators, die cutters, flexo folder gluers, and related equipment preferredProficiency with CMMS systemsUnderstanding of PLCs and automation systemsExcellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.Proficiency with Microsoft Office and maintenance management software (CMMS).Strong communication and teamwork skills.
