Paylocity is seeking a Maintenance Manager in Daytona Beach, FL to lead safe, reliable operation of production equipment and facility systems. The role oversees maintenance personnel, contractors, and capital projects, ensuring OSHA, EPA, Florida DEP, AS9100D, ISO 9001, ITAR compliance, and company safety standards are met.

• Monitor equipment performance and downtime trends to drive improvements.
• Conduct root cause analyses and implement corrective actions to prevent recurring failures.
• Maintain equipment maintenance records, repair histories, and asset documentation.
• Coordinate equipment installations, relocations, upgrades, and decommissioning projects.
• Ensure proper maintenance of forklifts, company vehicles, generators, and support equipment.
• Oversee maintenance of buildings, grounds, lighting, and facility systems; manage janitorial and vendor services.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, Florida DEP, and other safety environmental regulations.

The Maintenance Manager is responsible for the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of all production equipment, facility systems, grounds, and maintenance personnel. This position develops and leads preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs that maximize equipment uptime, improve productivity, reduce downtime, and support the Company's aerospace and defense manufacturing objectives. The Maintenance Manager oversees maintenance employees, contractors, vendors, facility projects, environmental compliance activities, and capital equipment maintenance plans, ensuring compliance with OSHA, EPA, Florida DEP, AS9100D, ISO 9001, ITAR, and Company safety standards.

Requirements

Leadership and Management

Equipment Maintenance and Reliability

• Monitor equipment performance and downtime trends.
• Conduct root cause analyses and implement corrective actions to prevent recurring failures.
• Maintain equipment maintenance records, repair histories, and asset documentation.
• Coordinate equipment installations, relocations, upgrades, and decommissioning projects.
• Ensure proper maintenance of forklifts, company vehicles, generators, and support equipment.

Facilities Management

• Oversee maintenance of buildings, grounds, parking areas, lighting systems, fencing, and facility signage.
• Coordinate janitorial, landscaping, pest control, and contractor services.
• Ensure all facility systems remain safe, clean, and operational.

Safety, Environmental, and Regulatory Compliance

• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, Florida DEP, RCRA, HAZWOPER, and all applicable environmental regulations.
• Support emergency preparedness activities including fire protection systems, emergency evacuation planning, and safety drills.
• Ensure compliance with Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), machine guarding, electrical safety, and other safety programs.
• Maintain required environmental permits, inspections, reporting, and documentation.
• Ensure proper handling, storage, labeling, and disposal of hazardous materials and wastes.

Budgeting and Purchasing

• Develop and manage the annual maintenance budget.
• Control maintenance expenditures while maintaining equipment reliability.
• Obtain vendor quotations and negotiate maintenance service agreements.
• Approve maintenance purchases and monitor spare parts inventory levels.

Continuous Improvement

• Implement maintenance strategies that improve equipment reliability and reduce overall downtime.
• Establish and monitor departmental Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Support Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives.
• Lead efforts to transition maintenance activities from reactive repairs to proactive reliability-centered maintenance.

Additional Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance technician duties as necessary during staffing shortages or emergencies.
• Support special projects and facility improvement initiatives.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
