Qualifications

• 5+ years of plant maintenance experience in a managerial role.
• Knowledge of LOTO, PLC, VFD, Electrical, and Mechanical systems.

How You'll Perform The Role

• Ensure maintenance employees are properly trained and follow safe work practices and procedures.
• Maintain compliance with all GMP Food Safety requirements.
• Provide leadership and direction to the Maintenance Team. Inspire high performance through effective staff training, development, goal setting, and performance measurement.
• Responsible for Preventive and Predictive Maintenance of plant assets.
• Prioritize and oversee day-to-day activities of the Maintenance Department.
• Manage departmental costs.
• Coordinate plant projects, design and development, overhauls, machine relocation, etc.
• Serve as liaison for State or Federal inspections, Local Fire Department & Insurance inspections.
• Prioritize workload and balance administrative duties with on-floor activities.
• Exhibit strong written, interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
• Partner with plant Safety, Quality, Production, Shipping & Receiving, and Administrative Departments.

What We Need From You

Candidate Requirements:

• Use a systematic and scientific approach to problem-solving.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, TPM, 5S, and Root Cause Analysis.
• Proficient in MS applications: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Forms.
• LOTO, Basic PLC, VFD, Electrical, and Mechanical knowledge/experience.
• Knowledge of machine shop equipment (welders, grinders, lathes, cutting equipment, etc.).
• Understanding of Capital Process and ROI.
• Experience with CMMS Systems and Inventory Management.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• BS or AS degree in a technical field preferred.
• Minimum five years of plant maintenance experience in a managerial or supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of printing and paper converting machinery is a plus.
