We are seeking a hands‑on Maintenance Director to oversee our physical plant and grounds, ensuring our environment reflects the high standard of care our patients deserve.
Organize and supervise all maintenance and repair programs for the building and grounds.
Plan and execute repair projects, new construction, and equipment installations.
Manage mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems to ensure efficient and reliable operation.
Coordinate maintenance activities with other departments to minimize disruption to patient care.
Maintain strict adherence to local codes, ordinances, safety regulations, and NHC standards.
Manage department supplies, equipment care, record keeping, and cost estimation.
Provide leadership and direction to maintenance team members.
Help maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for patients, families, visitors, and Partners.
Experience: At least 2 years of maintenance experience with a strong background in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
Education: High school diploma or technical school graduate required.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical manuals.
Proven ability to direct others and effectively manage a department.
Strong organizational, record-keeping, and budget-conscious purchasing skills.
Professional and tactful communication skills when interacting with patients, families, visitors, and team members.
Strong knowledge of maintenance practices, equipment, and safety procedures.
