Job summary

Chart Industries, Inc. in Beasley, TX is seeking a Reliability/Maintenance Manager to direct maintenance activities, ensure parts inventory, and train associates to maximize uptime. Emphasis on preventive/predictive maintenance, budgeting, and vendor coordination.

You will lead staffing, scheduling, and safety, while driving reliability improvements and uptime programs across facility operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or 8+ years of relevant experience.
• PLC and CNC experience.
• 10+ years’ experience with maintenance, mechanical/electrical repair and/or troubleshooting.
• 5+ years leadership experience.
• Proven ability to implement and execute successful preventative maintenance and increased uptime programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance department: schedule, train, supervise and motivate staff.
• Evaluate facility systems reliability and identify problems and requirements.
• Implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime.
• Coordinate work with outside vendors and review repair estimates.
• Maintain safe and healthy work environment and ensure regulatory compliance.

Primary objective is maximum machinery up-time. Reliability/Maintenance Manager will direct all of the activities of the maintenance department, ensuring appropriate parts inventory and adequate training of all Maintenance associates. Preventative and Predictive maintenance programs will be utilized to minimize down-time. Reliability/Maintenance Manager will be charged with budgets and timing of repairs. Reliability/Maintenance Manager will be responsible for all grounds and facility maintenance.

What Will You Do?

Accomplishes maintenance human resource objectives by selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising job contributions; recommending compensation actions; adhering to policies and procedures

Evaluates functionality and reliability of facility systems and associated equipment by conferring with operating departments; identifying problems and requirements

Maintains function and reliability of facility systems and associated equipment by implementing a preventive maintenance program; operating and testing systems and equipment; restoring, repairing, rebuilding, or replacing faulty or inoperative components and parts

Improves function and reliability of facility systems and associated equipment by studying performance results; identifying, recommending, and implementing changes, expansions, and additions

Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with legal codes and regulations

Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications

Accomplishes maintenance and organization mission by completing related results as needed

Schedule, train, supervise and motivate employees for the maintenance department

Coordinate work performed by outside vendors

Ensure efficient repair schedules and review repair cost estimates

Control and monitor inventory

Prioritize the maintenance and repairs of company equipment and parts

Your Experience Should Be...

Bachelor's Degree or 8 or more years of relevant experience
PLC and CNC experience
10 or more years’ experience with maintenance, mechanical/electrical repair and/or troubleshooting
5 or more years leadership experience
Proven ability to implement and execute successful preventative maintenance and increased uptime programs
