Qualifications

• 10+ years of manufacturing maintenance experience.
• 3+ years working as a Maintenance Manager.
• Advanced training in machine maintenance (Hydraulics/Pneumatics, Mechanical, Electrical, Automation, CNC).

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of maintenance personnel in a large manufacturing plant environment.
• Lead preventative/predictive maintenance and performance improvement for machinery to minimize downtime.
• Direct maintenance technical teams, ensuring proper work distribution, timely completion, quality, and safety standards.
• Manage the Work Order system and maintain accurate equipment and facility records (preventive/predictive, breakdown, projects).
• Perform project management duties to meet scope, goals, and deliverables.
• Support lean manufacturing initiatives with effective department performance and equipment oversight.

Large 400+ person manufacturing company located in Jackson Michigan is looking for a Maintenance Manager

JOB DUTIES

• Manage a team of (60) maintenance personnel in large manufacturing plant environment
• Lead preventative/predictive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and performance improvement for machinery/equipment to minimize downtime and achieve productivity goals.
• Give direction to the maintenance technical teams, ensuring effective distribution of work, timely completion of tasks, quality of work and safety standards/goals are met
• Manage the Work Order system and ensure accurate recording of work history on equipment and facility, including preventative/predictive, breakdown and projects.
• Perform project management duties, ensuring the project scope, goals and deliverables support the required outcome(s).
• Supports lean manufacturing initiatives with effective department performance and equipment oversight.

REQUIREMENTS

• 10+ years of manufacturing maintenance work experience
• 3+ years working as a Maintenance Manager
