Job description

The warehouse of the future contains high-density, high-precision racking with automated pallet shuttles (like our Atlas 1D) instead of wide aisles that forklifts need to pass through.

Our customers benefit from much better utilization of their warehouses (up to 70% more pallet storage than traditional racks!), maximized vertical space, improved accuracy in pallet selection, and minimized labor costs and product damage.

Over the span of more than 40 years, we’ve grown into a company with 10 manufacturing facilities, 19 commercial offices, and the know-how of around 2000 employees serving customers in 40 countries.

Early 2021, we opened our US Office and have already grown to around 50 people. It’s an exciting time to be at Stow!

Job Description
Qualifications

Key Result Areas & Key Deliverables:

  • Motivate and ensure compliance with QSHE standards to promote a safe, efficient, and high-quality work environment.
  • Support and implement Lean initiatives and continuous improvement objectives.
  • Ensure all activities and processes adhere to QSHE standards, policies, instructions, and local legislation.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Identify and resolve technical problems, providing support to technicians in root cause analysis and problem-solving.
  • Develop and execute preventive maintenance strategies to ensure equipment reliability and efficiency.
  • Manage maintenance issues in collaboration with the Works Council and CPPW, ensuring safety and compliance.
  • Lead and motivate maintenance employees, ensuring effective communication and cooperation.
  • Stay informed about industry standards and best practices within QHSE, updating skills accordingly.
  • Research and improve production processes, extending machine lifetimes using cost-benefit analyses.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe plant environment following housekeeping and 5S standards.
  • Build positive relationships with union representatives to foster a respectful work environment.
  • Maintain an up-to-date inventory of spare parts to minimize downtime.
  • Assign tasks to maintenance staff to meet plant targets.
  • Collaborate with Purchasing to strengthen supplier relationships for spare parts and services.
  • Conduct employee performance evaluations, providing coaching and feedback.
  • Foster a high-performing, motivated maintenance team.
  • Ensure proper use and updates of the CMMS across shifts.
