Parker Hannifin Corp in Alliance, NE seeks an experienced maintenance technician to troubleshoot, repair and overhaul equipment across machining, electrical, plumbing and welding systems. You will read blueprints, maintain tool inventories, and document maintenance activities.
The role requires safety compliance, accurate record-keeping, and teamwork with plant engineering and maintenance staff. A high school diploma or vocational training is preferred with prior machining experience.
Must be able to troubleshoot, repair, and overhaul equipment in several maintenance systems (i.e.) machining, electrical, plumbing, or welding. Must maintain a full general tool assortment as well as a basic assortment of precision measuring tools. General qualifications include but are not limited to the following: to ensure all safety and work rules are followed. Must be responsible for maintenance of equipment records, and administration of preventative maintenance programs. Must be able to read blueprints and plans for construction at plant level.
Education required/ preferred: High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in machining or completion of an apprenticeship is preferred.
Experience: At least one year of experience in a manufacturing or machining environment is typically required.

Skills/Competencies: 1.Basic computer skills – Microsoft Office package 2.Ability to lift up to 30 pounds 3.Ability to use all general mechanical hand tools and light power tools 4.Knowledge of light machine shop tools
