Diversified Technologies Inc. is currently seeking a skilled Maintenance – Machine Technician to join our team and keep our equipment running safely and efficiently. This is a full‑time, 40‑hour‑per‑week position based in George, Iowa.

The Maintenance – Machine Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining manufacturing equipment, machinery, and facility systems. This role helps minimize downtime, improve equipment performance, and support a safe and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on production machines and facility equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment issues.
• Diagnose and repair machinery components such as motors, bearings, belts, and gearboxes.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals, schematics, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and work orders.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance activities, and parts used.
• Collaborate with production staff to identify and resolve equipment performance issues.
• Ensure compliance with all safety policies and procedures.
• Assist with equipment installation, upgrades, and facility improvement projects.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training preferred.
• Three or more years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting is required.
• Knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical systems, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Ability to read technical manuals, blueprints, and wiring diagrams.
• Experience with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
• Basic welding and fabrication skills are a plus.
