Job summary

Sheridan is hiring a Maintenance Machine Repair Technician for the 3rd shift (11:00 PM – 7:00 AM) to support production equipment and facility operations in Michigan. The role emphasizes mechanical troubleshooting in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities include electrical/mechanical troubleshooting, maintaining and fabricating parts, addressing recurring facility issues, servicing RTU air conditioners, and managing inventory for operations.

Qualifications

• Must have strong mechanical troubleshooting skills in a manufacturing setting.
• Knowledge of Lock-Out-Tag-Out procedures is required.
• Experience with threading pipes and soldering copper pipes is needed.

Sheridan is hiring a Machine Repair Technician to support production equipment and facility operations. This is a 3 rd shift role (11:00 PM – 7:00 AM) This role is ideal for someone with strong mechanical troubleshooting skills and experience in a manufacturing environment.

What You’ll Do:

• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical breakdowns.
• Maintain, alter, rebuild and adjust equipment and facilities to include fabricating parts and assemblies.
• Follow up on and study recurring facility-oriented failures in an effort to find solutions.
• Attend to RTU air conditioners, filter changes, wash condensers, tighten belts.
• Maintain an inventory of supplies and materials necessary for the operation of the building and manufacturing.

What We’re Looking For:

We are open to candidates from a variety of industrial maintenance environments, including manufacturing outside of print. Requirements include:

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of mechanical technician experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Understand Lock-Out-Tag-Out.
• Ability to thread pipe and solder copper pipes.
