Job summary

Sheridan is seeking a Machine Repair Technician to support production equipment and facility operations. This second shift (3:00 PM – 11:30 PM) offers consistent weekday hours with a rotating on-call schedule, ideal for candidates with strong mechanical troubleshooting skills in manufacturing.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, maintaining and fabricating parts, addressing recurring facility issues, servicing RTU air conditioners, changing filters, and keeping inventory for building and

Qualifications

• 2+ years of mechanical technician experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Understand Lock-Out-Tag-Out.
• Ability to thread pipe and solder copper pipes.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical breakdowns.
• Maintain, alter, rebuild and adjust equipment and facilities, including fabricating parts and assemblies.
• Follow up on recurring facility failures to find solutions.
• Attend to RTU air conditioners, filter changes, wash condensers, tighten belts.
• Maintain an inventory of supplies for building and manufacturing operations.
• Wood working projects.
