Job summary

United States Cold Storage, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician III to keep our Lebanon facility’s refrigeration systems at peak efficiency.

The role requires strong skills in electrical and mechanical upkeep, plus the ability to lead a maintenance team and work with minimal supervision. Ideal candidates will have refrigeration expertise, HazMat training, and a solid foundation in welding and troubleshooting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Continuing RETA or industry courses strongly preferred.
• Experience in building and equipment maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and perform maintenance to minimize downtime across equipment.
• Plan, schedule, and operate the refrigeration system maintenance.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Interpret electrical ladder diagrams and electrical schematics.
• Assist the Chief Engineer with projects as assigned.
• Conduct daily inspections to ensure safe and efficient refrigeration operation.

Job Title: Maintenance Technician III

The Job Details: We are looking for dependable hardworking individuals with good work habits, abilities to minimize downtime of all equipment, and operate the facility at its maximum efficiency. In addition, we need someone who works well with others and is self-motivated. Duties and Responsibilities can include the following:

• Can complete all Maintenance Technician I and II jobs and tasks
• Including, but not limited to: required paperwork, battery maintenance, general housekeeping and maintenance, troubleshooting, electrical work, welding, equipment maintenance, and other preventative maintenance tasks.
• Hazmat responsibilities
• REFRIGERATION EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
• RETA1, RETA2
• ENGINE ROOM FUNTIONS AND PREVENTITIVE MAINTENANCE
• Electrical systems maintenance
• Lead, plan, schedule, operate, maintain, and repair the refrigeration system
• Assist the Chief Engineer with projects when asked
• Conducts daily inspections to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the facilities refrigeration system
• Assists in execution of PSM Program
• Emergency response training
• Conducts troubleshooting on electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment
• Interpret and utilize electrical ladder diagrams
• Capable of leading a team

What We Are Looking For

The ideal candidate will have or be able to complete the below qualifications

• Education
• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
• Continuing education in RETA and or other industry specific courses strongly preferred.

• Experience
• Highly skilled in building and equipment maintenance
• Proficient electrical knowledge
• Maintenance troubleshooting
• Proficient welding knowledge
• HAZMAT trained
• Highly skilled in all aspects of refrigeration
• Understanding of electrical ladder diagrams
• Capable of leading a team and working independently with limited direction
