Job summary

Pursuit’s Grouse Mountain Lodge in Whitefish, MT seeks a Maintenance Manager to lead building and grounds upkeep, supervise a maintenance team, and ensure guest areas and staff housing meet safety and presentation standards.

Responsibilities include planning daily work, coordinating with hotel leadership, managing work orders, and supporting capital projects while maintaining strict safety and sanitation compliance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in maintenance or facilities management.
• 2+ years supervisory or management experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of building systems; commercial kitchen repair experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead, train, and mentor Maintenance Workers; oversee performance and work quality.
• Supervise maintenance operations to ensure safe, efficient, well‑maintained facilities.
• Coordinate daily maintenance activities with hotel leadership to support operations.
• Prepare weekly schedules and ensure weekend/holiday coverage.
• Operate maintenance tracking system and manage work orders and updates.
• Plan and track preventive maintenance and inspections; maintain logs and compliance records.
• Manage parts inventory and coordinate external contractors as needed.
• Support capital projects, renovations, and seasonal opening/closing procedures.
• Oversee maintenance of vehicles and staff housing units.
• Ensure safety, sanitation, and life‑safety regulations compliance; conduct walk‑throughs.
• Participate in on‑call rotation for after‑hours emergencies; coordinate with outside contractors as required.
