Job summary

Responsibilities

• Coaches, trains, and counsels associates on skills, standards, and policies.
• Coordinates and implements services and inspections to tower and public areas.
• Multitasks, thinks quickly, and reacts to situations as they arise.
• Analyzes operating procedures and keeps records of activity and discrepancies.
• Interprets and communicates procedures and failures to management.
• Estimates materials and time for tasks; follows oral and written instructions.
• Operates office equipment and carries a two-way radio during shift.
• Ensures maintenance technicians are properly trained and that work orders are completed.

Job Description

Continues associate growth by coaching, training, and counseling specific skills, standards, and policies.

Coordinates and implements services and inspections to all tower & public areas.

Able to multi-task, think and re-act quickly.

Analyzes operating procedures and keeps records of any activity or discrepancies to equipment.

Interprets and communicates operating procedures and failures to upper management.

Able to estimate materials and time required to complete various tasks.

Able to follow oral and written instructions.

Knowledgeable of standard hand and power tools and equipment used in repair & maintenance of said equipment.

Adheres to and remains aware of all property and departmental safety procedures.

Reports all Tower & public activity’s to upper management.

Operate electronic equipment: (desk computers, printers, and hand held palm pilot) with some basic office support software.

Carries a two way radio at all times on their shift.

Ensures all maintenance technicians are properly trained.

Check work orders to assure jobs are complete.

Provide incredible customer service.

Qualifications

Educational or formal training requirements:High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Experience: Two to five years of related experience in the Casino industry as Lead Maintenance Technician preferred

Other education, experience, skills, etc:

Must be able to read, write, and speak English.

Must possess excellent leadership skills.

Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office

Equipment used regularly:

(e.g. computer, telephone, hand tools, etc.)

Familiar with practices, tool, equipment and techniques associated with tower, public area & related equipment

Special certifications, licenses, etc. (excluding standard gaming, local health and/or alcohol):

Must presently have or become equipment certified to operate man lifts, forklifts, etc.
