Job summary

Empire Management Group is seeking a Maintenance Lead Technician to oversee general upkeep and repair across multiple communities in Central Florida. The role involves performing maintenance tasks, estimating work, and traveling between sites while coordinating with Community Association Managers on improvements.

Ideal candidates are bilingual, physically capable of lifting 45 lbs, and have at least 3 years handyman experience.

Qualifications

• Bilingual English/Spanish required.
• Valid US driver’s license and clean background.
• Ability to lift at least 45 lbs and work 40 hours weekly.

Responsibilities

• Complete maintenance tasks and projects, traveling between multiple worksites daily.
• Provide feedback on improvement opportunities across communities visited.
• Provide estimates for work requests.
• Complete approved projects safely and on time.
• Attend all mandatory team meetings.

Description

The Maintenance Lead Technician would be responsible for general upkeep and repair in various communities in the Central Florida Area. The role would be assisting Community Association Managers assess or complete maintenance and improvement projects.

*Responsibilities*

• Complete maintenance tasks and projects, traveling between multiple worksites each day.
• Provide feedback on other areas of improvement throughout the communities visited
• Provide estimates for work requested
• Complete approved projects in a safe and timely manner
• Attend all mandatory individual and team meetings.

Work Conditions

• Works in both indoor and outdoor environments.
• Regular exposure to varying temperatures, humidity, dust, noise, and weather conditions.
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, kneeling, climbing ladders, and reaching overhead.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds regularly and heavier loads with assistance or equipment.
• Use of hand tools, power tools, diagnostic equipment, and maintenance machinery.
• Exposure to electrical systems, mechanical equipment, chemicals, and cleaning agents while following safety protocols.
