Job summary

TRG Management is seeking a Maintenance Lead for Liberty Square in Miami, FL. The role focuses on hands-on maintenance of the property, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general repairs. The candidate will supervise the maintenance team and ensure facilities meet safety and quality standards.

The ideal candidate has at least two years of maintenance experience, strong communication skills, and a valid driver’s license. EPA or CFC certification is preferred.

• 2+ years of hands-on maintenance experience in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, etc.
• EPA or CFC certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares or assists in maintenance tasks for offices and common areas.
• Maintains hands-on maintenance of the property including inspections and repairs.
• Repairs electrical systems and components of machinery and equipment.
• Performs preventative maintenance and records findings in maintenance log.
• Provides on-call emergency service as required.
• Supervises maintenance staff and coordinates with team.

We’re actively seeking a Maintenance Lead for our property in Miami, FL.Through technical and mechanical labor, this role is responsible for ensuring that the physical features of the property’s building, grounds, facilities, and common areas meet the community’s standards for aesthetics, cleanliness, safety, and overall functionality.

Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Prepares or assists in preparing maintenance of office in regards to painting, carpet cleaning, general repairs, housekeeping, etc.
• Responsible for the hands-on maintenance of the property, including overall inspection, repair, and general maintenance of offices and other interior/exterior areas.
• Installs and repairs electrical systems, apparatus, and electrical and electronic components of industrial machinery and equipment.
• Performs various preventative maintenance functions and records findings in maintenance log.
• Performs on-call emergency service as required.
• Works along with general maintenance staff in maintaining grounds and keeping them free of trash and debris.
  Monitors the maintenance and keep-up of all mechanical equipment on the community including, but not limited to, water heaters, HVAC units, etc.
• Diagnoses malfunctioning apparatus such as transformers, motors, and lighting fixtures and replaces damaged or broken wires and cables.
• Replaces faulty electrical components of machines such as relays, switches, motors, and position sensing devices. Supervise the maintenance team.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A high school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• A minimum of two (2) years of hands-on maintenance experience in areas such as plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, etc.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required.
• The ability to lift and work heavy equipment. A valid driver’s license and good driving record along with auto insurance are required.
• An EPA or CFC certification.
