Job summary

The Building People, LLC is seeking a Research Equipment Maintenance Lead in Dayton, OH to oversee preventive and corrective maintenance for lasers, environmental chambers, vacuum chambers, microscopes, and network servers used in AFRL Materials and Manufacturing Directorate RX.

You will supervise technicians, coordinate with Scientists and Engineers, and ensure equipment records and inspections are up to date.

Responsibilities

• Supervise maintenance activities on specialized research and laboratory equipment.
• Coordinate with Scientists and Engineers (S&E) to keep their focus on Research, Development, Test, and Evaluation (RDT&E) by managing facility and equipment issues on their behalf.
• Maintain equipment records, technical orders, and inspection documentation.
