Job summary

Qualifications

• Must understand basic machine principles and be able to repair valves, cylinders, pumps, clutches.
• Experience with 5-axis and multi-axis equipment is preferred.
• Proficiency in reading basic electrical/mechanical drawings and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical problems on production and quality equipment.
• Isolate problems quickly and implement permanent corrective actions.
• Follow lock-out/tag-out procedures during maintenance work.
• Read layouts and position machines according to blueprints while complying with safety codes.
• Raise and install minor machine parts, guards, and fixtures as needed.
• Perform preventive maintenance to sustain high operating efficiency.
