Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction (ODRC) seeks a facilities maintenance worker to lead and train inmates and staff in semi-skilled and skilled repairs. You will perform electrical, carpentry, plumbing, and preventive maintenance, while ensuring tool security and responding to emergencies.

Ideal candidates will have arithmetic and English basics, 12 months of relevant training or experience, and a valid CDL if required for large equipment.

Qualificações

• Formal education in arithmetic with English basics and 12 months of maintenance training or experience.
• Experience in basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry or masonry and tool use.
• Valid commercial driver's license if required for equipment handled.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and train inmates or staff in semi-skilled and skilled maintenance tasks.
• Repair and maintain electrical, carpentry, plumbing and related systems.
• Inspect facilities regularly and perform preventive maintenance.
• Respond to emergencies and manage secure tool inventories.
• Assist related crafts as needed and supervise inmate movements.
