Job summary

Revised personnel in Denton, TX is seeking an experienced Maintenance Lead Assistant to join our property management team. You will lead hands-on maintenance operations and mentor a small team to keep the apartment community in top condition.

You will handle preventative maintenance, coordinate repairs, perform inspections, and ensure safety and cleanliness for residents. Must be HVAC certified and willing to on-call on a rotating schedule.

Qualifications

• HVAC certification is required or strongly preferred.
• Experience leading a small maintenance team is expected.
• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general building repairs.

Responsibilities

• Perform and oversee repairs across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, appliances, and general building systems.
• Lead, train, and coordinate a maintenance technician team to ensure work orders are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
• Conduct regular property inspections to identify and address potential issues proactively.
• Manage unit turns — preparing vacant units for move-in, including painting, cleaning coordination, and punch list completion.
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests on a rotating on-call schedule.
• Communicate professionally with residents regarding service requests and timelines.
• Maintain accurate records of work completed, parts used, and equipment service history.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors as needed.
• Ensure the property is always safe, clean, and well-maintained.

• Prior experience in a lead or supervisory role preferred
• Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general repairs
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks in various conditions
