Job summary

Maple Donuts, LLC is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic Lead to respond to line down calls, perform preventive maintenance, and address work orders from supervision. Lead Mechanics coordinate the tasks of other mechanics and ensure all machinery runs smoothly.

Responsibilities include repairing and replacing AC/DC motors and gearboxes, aligning wiring, rebuilding pumps and conveyors, repairing valves, and performing piping, welding, machining, and basic carpentry as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience with industrial electrical and mechanical systems.
• Willingness to work a six-day week with shift flexibility.
• Food manufacturing experience preferred.

Job description

Industrial Maintenance Mechanic Leads are responsible to respond to line down calls, perform PM's, and work on other work orders as assigned by their supervisor. Leads coordinate the tasks of mechanics under their charge. Examples of some tasks performed include: Repair and replace AC and DC motors and gearboxes, ensure proper alignment and proper wiring by verifying direction; rebuild centrifugal and pneumatic pumps; repair and replace all types of conveying equipment, including wire belt; repair case coding equipment; rebuild and repair valves and cylinders; perform plumbing repairs, pipefitting, soldering and sweating of fittings; weld; general carpentry/building repairs; perform basic machining; diagnose and repair bearings, sprockets, shafts, gears, belts and chains.

A working knowledge of industrial electrical as well as mechanical is required. Lead Mechanics must be available any day of the week, including weekends and holidays. They must be available to work a 6 day work week on a regular basis with shift flexibility. The leads are also on call for emergencies. Food manufacturing experience preferred.

Salary: $20.00 to $25.00/hour depending on experience
