Job summary

FSBR-Leedo Cabinets Division is seeking a Maintenance Technician Lead to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical and electrical equipment across the manufacturing facility. You will lead maintenance technicians on the assigned shift and support preventive maintenance programs to maximize equipment reliability and production uptime.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of leadership or lead experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Minimum 3 years electrical maintenance experience.
• Minimum 3 years mechanical maintenance experience, including preventive maintenance.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting skills and ability to read electrical/instrumentation drawings.
• Experience with 480-Volt, 3-phase electrical systems, motor starters, VFDs, and industrial control systems.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions.

Position Summary

The Maintenance Technician Lead is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining mechanical and electrical equipment throughout the manufacturing facility. This role also provides leadership and development for maintenance technicians on the assigned shift while supporting preventive maintenance programs that maximize equipment reliability and production uptime.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment and systems
• Diagnose and repair electrical and electronic equipment
• Perform and support preventive maintenance activities on manufacturing equipment
• Lead, coach, and develop maintenance technicians on the assigned shift
• Ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently to support production goals
• Maintain a safe work environment and follow all company safety procedures
• Complete additional duties as assigned by management

Required Skills & Experience

• Working knowledge of:
  • 480-Volt, 3-phase electrical systems
  • Motor starters
  • Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs)
  • Industrial control systems
• Ability to read and follow written instructions
• Ability to read and interpret electrical and instrumentation drawings and specifications
• Strong electrical troubleshooting skills
• Minimum 3 years of electrical maintenance experience
• Minimum 3 years of mechanical maintenance experience, including preventive maintenance
• Minimum 5 years of leadership or lead experience in a manufacturing environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience troubleshooting PLC-based control systems
• Welding and fabrication experience

Working Conditions

This position is based in a manufacturing and distribution environment. Responsibilities may include:
