Job summary

Storm-Search- is seeking a Maintenance Lead for the 1st shift in Cambridge Springs, PA to act as the senior technical resource in a CNC manufacturing environment. This hands-on role emphasizes advanced troubleshooting, equipment reliability, and mentoring other maintenance technicians.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience with CNC equipment, PLCs, electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and industrial automation, and will drive safety-focused maintenance programs on a fast-paced

Qualifications

• 8+ years of industrial maintenance experience preferred.
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• PLC troubleshooting, programming, and I/O diagnostic experience.
• CNC equipment and controls experience strongly preferred.
• FANUC CNC control experience is a plus.
• Strong hydraulic and pneumatic troubleshooting experience.
• Experience with robotics and automated manufacturing equipment.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and troubleshoot control systems.
• Previous leadership, mentoring, or training experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize equipment issues in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair CNC equipment, robotic systems, automated gauges, and PLC-controlled machinery.
• Diagnose complex electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues.
• Program, modify, and troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment.
• Troubleshoot CNC controls and automation systems, including FANUC-based equipment.
• Lead and assist maintenance technicians during complex repairs.
• Train and mentor less-experienced maintenance team members.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement long-term corrective actions.
• Develop and improve preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Support equipment reliability and reduce unplanned downtime.
• Follow LOTO, PPE, OSHA, and plant safety procedures.
• Support 5S initiatives throughout the facility.
• Safely operate forklifts, personnel lifts, and maintenance equipment.
