Responsibilities

  • Plan, assess, organize, direct, control and evaluate all Facilities Services and Safety Programs and Systems
  • Maintain an effective maintenance supplies inventory control system
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of the department’s policy and procedure manual
  • Review all EVS reports and spot check areas for safety assurance
  • Assure regulatory safety compliance
  • Assist in the development and implementation of a regular preventative maintenance program
  • Research, recommend, and manage contract services
  • Respond to incoming requests for maintenance, grounds, and housekeeping
  • Liaise with consultants, suppliers, and contractors
  • Enter data into the TELS system for work order requests
  • Lead and coordinate all maintenance, grounds, and janitorial needs accurately and timely

  • 4-6 years experience as a successful maintenance III position
  • Knowledge of HCAI, DSS, and DPH regulations for CCRC and SNF
  • Thorough documentation skills
  • Excellent leadership ability
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
  • Proficient in the use of computers and associated software
  • Ability to lift up to 100 pounds
Position Summary:

The Maintenance Lead is responsible for overall coordination of the campus maintenance, grounds, and janitorial needs. The Lead plans and organizes the facilities department work orders, activity setups, and administrative functions for the facilities department. Responsible for maintaining compliance with various regulatory requirements and overseeing the Safety Program. This position is a working lead position and is required to complete tasks within the incumbent’s scope of experience.
