Overview

It is the responsibility of the Laborer to assist the Laborer Foreman, completes work orders, delivery of merchandise from warehouse, operates forklift, assists carpenters, painters, engineers, electricians, welders, and upholstery shop personnel. This position must also exhibit a high level of professional and personalized guest service that embodies the Company’s brand standard and core values (K.E.E.P. – Kindness, Engagement, Empathy and Positivity).

Responsibilities

• Assisting all trades: painters, engineers, electricians, welders, carpenters, and upholstery shop.
• Cleaning of shops, trash, sweeping, picking materials up from job sites, etc.
• Delivering of material to tool room and shops from receiving.
• Moving of furniture from different functions, maintain all work orders concerning the shop.
• Warehouse stocking and maintaining inventory of warehouse.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested.
• Job consists of moving heavy objects.
• Set up special events functions, must have valid driver's license, parts pickup and delivery.
• Maintain inventory of warehouse, transporting goods.
• Perform other duties as instructed. Must be able to operate a forklift.
• Must be willing to work holidays and any shift.

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the duties and responsibilities satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

• Ability to work rapidly, pay attention to detail, observe situations, remember orders from supervisors and make daily decisions. Must be able to read and write English for daily paperwork.
• Ability to assist all trades; painters, engineers, electricians, welders, carpenters and upholstery. Responsible for cleaning shops, trash removal, sweeping and picking up materials from job sites, etc. Responsible for delivering of materials to tool room and shops from receiving area.
• Set -up and moving of furniture for various functions, and maintaining all work orders concerning the shop.
• Warehouse stocking and maintaining warehouse inventory.
• Must be able to operate forklift and possess physical ability to lift 80 lbs.
• 1 year experience.
• Minimum age requirement is 21.
• Must possess basic mathematical skills to include ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide specific to position responsibilities.
• Ability to read and understand all policies and procedures.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with guests, employees, and members of management in English, specific to position duties and responsibilities.
• Must be able to complete standard forms and reports.
