Job summary

The Post Oak in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a Laborer to assist the Laborer Foreman, complete work orders, and deliver merchandise from the warehouse while operating a forklift. You will support carpenters, painters, engineers, electricians, welders, and upholstery shop personnel with a strong focus on guest service and brand values.

The role requires lifting heavy objects, occasional long hours, and willingness to work holidays or any shift.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and write English for daily paperwork.
• Assist trades; perform shop cleaning and material deliveries.
• Set-up and moving of furniture for functions; maintain work orders.
• Operate forklift and lift up to 80 lbs; warehouse inventory duties.
• 1 year experience; minimum age 21; basic math skills.
• Read and follow policies; communicate in English.
• Complete standard forms and reports.

Overview

It is the responsibility of the Laborer to assist the Laborer Foreman, completes work orders, delivery of merchandise from warehouse, operates forklift, assists carpenters, painters, engineers, electricians, welders, and upholstery shop personnel. Qualifications

• Ability to work rapidly, pay attention to detail, observe situations, remember orders from supervisors and make daily decisions. Must be able to read and write English for daily paperwork.
• Ability to assist all trades; painters, engineers, electricians, welders, carpenters and upholstery. Responsible for cleaning shops, trash removal, sweeping and picking up materials from job sites, etc. Responsible for delivering of materials to tool room and shops from receiving area.
• Set -up and moving of furniture for various functions, and maintaining all work orders concerning the shop.
• Warehouse stocking and maintaining warehouse inventory.
• Must be able to operate forklift and possess physical ability to lift 80 lbs.
• 1 year experience.
• Minimum age requirement is 21.
• Must possess basic mathematical skills to include ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide specific to position responsibilities.
• Ability to read and understand all policies and procedures.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with guests, employees, and members of management in English, specific to position duties and responsibilities.
• Must be able to complete standard forms and reports.
