Job summary

US Aggregates is seeking a Maintenance/Laborer to support daily plant upkeep and production at our Indiana operations. You will operate heavy equipment, perform routine maintenance, and assist with repairs while following safety procedures.

The role requires reading and speaking English, basic math, and the ability to work in a team. You may participate in safety briefings and daily inspections, with opportunities to grow in a safety‑driven environment at our Indiana facilities.

Qualifications

• Required High School or equivalent.
• Must read, write, and communicate in English and understand basic math.
• Follow safety policies and participate in briefings.
• Ability to work with a team and take on additional duties as needed.
• Welding, torching, and maintenance skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain plant equipment including loaders, skid steers, and haul trucks.
• Perform pre-shift and end of shift checks and daily maintenance.
• Fuel, oil, grease equipment and follow safety procedures.
• Keep the plant clean with daily shoveling, sweeping and housekeeping.
• Communicate equipment conditions and improvements to management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

The Maintenance/Laborer may operate plant equipment in order to maintain daily production of the plant.
