Job Description

Pay Rate:

$39.53/hr.

Physical Location:

601 County Road 78

Category/Shift:

Hourly Full‑Time / Days ( 7 am- 3 :30pm – Monday- Friday )

Job Requirements

At least 18 years of age

Minimum high school graduate, GED, or equivalent work experience

Eligible for employment in the US

At least three (3) years of work experience as a Millwright

Must be willing to meet the following requirements:

Work in industrial conditions (may be warm/hot, dusty/dirty, around hazardous chemicals, noise, heavy machinery, elevated working surfaces, and confined spaces (with proper safety training and safety protection)

Undergo technical online testing, interview, and a formal hands‑on assessment of skills

Undergo a drug screen for illicit use of drugs as a condition of employment

Undergo a job‑related health assessment as a condition of employment

Submit to periodic drug screens as a condition of employment

Work any shift and/or a rotating shift schedule

Work overtime on a regular basis and with last minute notification

Work holidays and/or weekends on a regular basis

Wear required safety equipment

It is preferred that candidates have the following skills and/or experience(s):

Associates degree or certification(s) in the Millwright discipline

A minimum of 3 years work experience in the Millwright discipline

Relevant work experience in an industrial environment.

The Job You Will Perform:

This position will assist journeymen‑level mechanical maintenance technicians in routine maintenance work as well as performing many duties independently. Our world class Global Manufacturing Training program provides paid hands‑on experiences and classroom instruction to prepare you for your next promotion.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Install machine and equipment according to layout plan, blueprints and other drawings
  • Align machines and equipment using hoists, jacks, hand tools, dial indicators and laser alignment equipment
  • Install machinery, new and existing equipment
  • Repair and lubricate machine and equipment
  • Refurbish/maintain valves, pumps, gear boxes, bearings, agitators, conveyors, turbines, paper machines, lime kiln
  • Measure for bearing clearance and shaft diameters
  • Troubleshoot equipment reliability issues
  • Fabricate structural materials as needed
  • Other duties as assigned
