Job summary

Design Solutions and Integration is hiring a Journeyman Electrician in Carlsbad, NM to install VFDs and 120/240V and 480V equipment in Permian Basin oil fields. You will configure controllers, read schematics, bend conduit, and install wiring outdoors.

Requirements include a valid driver’s license, a Texas apprentice license, and at least 3 years of oil and gas experience; EOE and drug-free workplace. Competitive wages with a strong benefits package.

This position is in Carlsbad NM working in the Permian Basin oil fields installing VFDs and other 120/240v and 480v electrical equipment.

We are looking for self‑motivated, assertive, dependable individuals.

As a Journeyman Electrician with DSI you will be working for a leading electrical‑integration firm in the United States. You could be configuring and wiring various brands of AC/DC controllers and VFDs. Using electrical schematics, you will design, bend and fill conduit to proper code specifications. You will be working outdoors.

Schedule

• 5 days on, 2 days off, with on call rotation every 3rd week

$35 - $42 an hour
