Job summary

Design Solutions and Integration in Midland, TX is seeking a Journeyman Electrician to install VFDs and related electrical equipment in oilfield sites. You will configure and wire AC/DC controllers, read electrical schematics, and bend conduit to code while working outdoors in the Bakken Basin.

Expect hours: 10 per day, 6 days a week, with potential shifts to 12 hours/day, 7 days/week. A Texas Journeyman license or reciprocal is required, and a valid driver’s license must be kept current.

This position is in Midland, Texas working in the Bakken Basin oil fields installing VFDs and other electrical equipment.

We are looking for self-motivated, assertive, dependable individuals.

As a Journeyman Electrician with DSI you will be working for a leading electrical-integration firm in the United States. You could be configuring and wiring various brands of AC/DC controllers and VFDs. Using electrical schematics, you will design, bend and fill conduit to proper code specifications. You will be working outdoors.

$35 - $42 an hour
